Peak City Pig Fest - Head to downtown Apex Friday and Saturday for two days of live music, a beer garden and more than 40 teams facing off in a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned competition.

Raleigh Tattoo Arts Festival - Friday through Sunday at the State Fairgrounds, get a tattoo onsite by 300 of the world's best tattoo artists. See death defying sideshow entertainment, live human suspension, interactive art displays, jewelry and apparel vendors. All ages welcome, but 18+ to get a tattoos.

Durham Bulls: Bull Durham Night (DBAP, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - Meet us at the DBAP on Friday to feed your soul with the Church of Baseball as we commemorate the greatest movie of all time. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

Dave Matthews Band (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh) - Dave Matthews Band will play Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek on Friday.

WakeMed Movies by Moonlight (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - Enjoy a screening of Raya and the Last Dragon on Friday. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the WakeMed Foundation to benefit WakeMed Children’s services.
