The North Carolina Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures has been recognized as one of North Carolina’s top 35 most unforgettable museums, according to their website.

This nonprofit museum showcases many artifacts, many being Barbie.

“I love the Barbie mania,” said Beth Nance, founder of the NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures. “If you look at these Barbies, you can see in 1959, when who was created, what the culture was, like, what the fashion was, like, what was happening at the time.”

Two of the museum operators are graduates of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they mastered history and museum studies.
