Flamin' Hot Cheetos Roasted Corn

Two fan favorites, roasted corn on the cob and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, collide in a unique North Carolina State Fair food at the Douglas Farms stand.

The sweet and fresh corn is first covered in mayonnaise. It is then covered in a healthy serving of crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

The first bite is mildly spicy. The mayonnaise balances out the spice and adds a little bit of saltiness. And, the final thing you taste is the super sweet corn.

The spicy, salty and sweet flavors blend well to create a melody of flavors. If you're familiar with the well-known Mexican street food, elote (grilled corn covered in mayonnaise and cojita cheese), then you will love this dish.

The Douglas Farms food stand can be found in front of the Sam Rand Grandstand building. The stand also serves plain roasted corn with butter and corn in a cup.
