State Fair Scuffle Sends 1 to WakeMed

A stabbing at the State Fair sent one man to the hospital Saturday night.

Investigators said Wayne Hill, 20, and two other men got into a scuffle with Keith Mitchell, also 20. Sometime during the fight, Mitchell was stabbed.

The two un-named men have not been found. Hill was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He was being held in the Wake County Jail on a $25,000 secured bond.

Mitchell was taken to WakeMed, but his injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
