Here’s another tasty and healthy snack idea from the FIT4MOM Body Back recipe guide. Flavorful and crunchy, these little chickpeas deliver protein are are super easy to make. Add these to your after school or game day snack menu and enjoy!
Chickpea Nuts
Serves: 4
1 (15 oz) can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin
¼ tsp allspice
¼ tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drain, rinse and blot chickpeas with a paper towel. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl. Spread on a baking sheet. Bake 25-30 min, stirring a few times. Let cool before eating.
