One shot to death in Fayetteville

A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting on Landau Drive around 1:40 p.m. Friday, Fayetteville police said.

The name of the victim was withheld, pending notification of his next of kin. Police also withheld the name of the suspect.

Police said they would release more information about the shooting once the early stages of the investigation are complete.
