We've never met a donut we didn't like -- but these were your top five favorite picks in WRAL's 2017 Voters Choice Awards.
Duck Donuts
With locations in Raleigh and Cary, Duck Donuts is known for their cake-like, made-to-order donuts (served warm!) that come with your choice of icings and toppings in more than 100 possible combinations. The first Duck Donuts opened in the Outer Banks in 2007. Since then, its popularity has skyrocketed.

Rise Biscuits and Donuts
Rise has amazing donuts -- try tasty, unique inventions like creme brulee -- but they also serve biscuits (customized with your choice of a dozen or so toppings), hashbrowns and more. It's a carb lovers dream.

Krispy Kreme
Do we even need a description? We just can't get enough of Krispy Kreme.

There's only one local Daylight Donuts, but it's worth it! These sweet, light and airy donuts are made fresh each morning.

Baker's Dozen
Located in a strip mall on Buck Jones Road, Baker's Dozen is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere inside is colorful and friendly, and the donuts are delicious.
