Full refund offered for Black+Decker Easy Garment Steamers
The fix for a recalled clothing steamer hasn’t worked and more people have reported being burned.
Black+Decker Easy Garment Steamers were originally recalled in November 2022.
The manufacturer, Empower Brands, offered a free fix, However, that didn’t work and 94 people say these steamers sprayed hot water unexpectedly resulting in 19 burn injuries, even after the repair work.
Empower Brands is now offering a full refund on 1.6 million of these steamers.
They were sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and other stores with model number HGS011.
