Former North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky has agreed to terms to return to the Buffalo Bills, according to reports.
The NFL Network's Mike Garafolo was first to report the news Wednesday.
Trubisky will receive a two-year deal worth $5.25 million with $2.7 million guaranteed for the 2024 season, an unnamed source told the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Pelissero reported the deal maxes out at $8.45 million with incentives.
The NFL free agency period officially starts at 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, March 13, which is when Trubisky's deal can become official.
Last season, Trubisky earned $8 million with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In February, the Steelers released Trubisky.
From 2022-2023, Trubisky went 2-5 as the Steelers' starter, throwing 1,884 yards, eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Trubisky spent the 2021 season as Josh Allen's backup for the Bills, throwing for 43 yards in six games played.
