Carlie C's giving away 40,000 lbs of chicken in Fayetteville on May 5
Carlie C's, House of Raeford and Manna Church are giving away an entire truckload of chicken on Tuesday May 5 in Fayetteville! Each car will receive a 10 lb. bag of chicken for a total donation of 40,000 pounds.

Time: 8:00 am until they have given it all away
Location: Manna Church at 5117 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, NC
Each car during this drive-thru event will receive a free 10 LB bag of chicken until they give away the full 40,000 lbs. This means that 4,000 cars should be able to receive a free bag of chicken.
The company indicated that the free bags would likely include mostly chicken drumsticks, but that is not certain at this time.
Traffic control: According to Carlie C's, Cars will be given a ticket upon entering the Manna parking lot through ONE entrance only. Each car will receive 10lbs of chicken. This outreach will be drive-through only, meaning no walk-ups. The lot will be coned off to direct traffic to the back of the student center where the truck of chicken will be stationed. A fantastic serve team will hand out the free chicken and cars will exit right turn only. They will have law enforcement on site to direct traffic and are working with the city for a lane closure/solution to stalling traffic.
