Children's ride stalls at fair, second time this week
The Wacky Worm rollercoaster stalled at the North Carolina State Fair, According to a spokesperson for the company, Satturday wasn't the first it stalled during the fair.

Children were evacuated from a rollercoaster after it stalled Saturday at the North Carolina State Fair.
According to a witness at the fair, the Wacky Worm children’s roller coaster got stuck and required emergency crews to evacuate just before 4 p.m.
WRAL News learned the same ride stalled earlier in the week.
According to Mark Janus of Power Great America Midways, the ride was going up the ramp when it shut down momentarily on Wednesday.
Janus said the ride was evacuated after a glitch in the power system, and it “wasn’t a big deal,” adding the ride was back up in “five minutes.”
Janus said the ride goes through extensive inspection measures and inspectors are onsite if something needs fixing, adding Saturday’s shutdown will be investigated.
