Billy Joel reschedules Charlotte concert again

Billy Joel has postponed his upcoming Charlotte concert to 2022.

Joel was set originally to perform on April 18, 2020, at Charlotte's Bank of American Stadium, but the show was rescheduled to April 17, 2021, due to COVID-19 concerns.

On Friday, concert promoters announced that the show had been postponed again and will now take place on April 23, 2022.

Tickets purchased for the previous dates will be honored for the new date. Ticket holders will be contacted via email with refund options if they are unable to attend the new date.

Joel performed in Raleigh in February 2014 at PNC Arena.
