The annual mum sale that occurs every year after the North Carolina State Fair will not happen this year, officials announced last week.

According to a social media post from the N.C. State Fair, a local university purchased all the mums, so there will be none left for the public.

The large display of mums is part of the fair's flower show, which features growing workshops, displays and more.
