Advance tickets for NC State Fair on sale Thursday; include deals for families
If your fall isn't complete without a trip to the NC State Fair, here's some good news: Advance tickets are on sale now, and you could save as much as 45% off prices if you take advantage of the deal.
FastTrack gate admission, attraction tickets and several carnival options will go on sale at reduced prices at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1.
“Buying in advance can save you up to 45% off prices once you arrive at the fair,” said Kent Yelverton, state fair manager, in a news release. “It is the most economical way to visit – especially if you’re bringing the whole family.”
In addition to deals on admission tickets, the fair also offers some ticket packages, including some designed with families in mind. Here are some of the deals:
Dizzy Pass
Includes a FastTrack gate admission and the popular one-price, ride-all-day wristband for $33.
Casey’s Family 4-Pack
Includes four FastTrack gate admissions, two ride sheets (18 tickets per sheet) and one Casey Cardinal plush toy for $60.
State Fair Flyer Package
Includes two FastTrack admissions and two round-trip State Fair Flyer tickets for $30.
State Fair SkyGazer-155’ Ferris Wheel Package
Includes one FastTrack admission and one ticket for the State Fair SkyGazer, the massive Ferris wheel coming to the fair this year, for $14.
The 2019 fair runs Oct. 17 to Oct. 27. More information will be on the fair's website.
