The Museum of Life and Science in Durham is opening a new exhibit on June 30 that sounds like it's tailor-made for our hot North Carolina summers.

Visitors will be able to get wet, stay cool and explore mist when the new outdoor exhibit called Into the Mist opens.

The exhibit will be about more than just getting wet and cooling off. There also will be lessons about how clouds are created, how water erosion changes stones to pebbles and more. Some surprises include rainbows.

“It’s a wonderfully exploratory experience that mingles together art, science and play,” says Roy Griffiths, Vice President for Exhibits and Planning at the Museum of Life and Science, on the museum's website.

I'm excited to see this one!
