RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man who admitted to videotaping a boy in a restroom at the 2013 North Carolina State Fair was sentenced Monday to more than eight years in federal prison.

Paul William Fantz, 32, of 2930 Calliope Way, Apt. 103, pleaded guilty last year to receiving child pornography, and he was sentenced to 100 months in prison.

After Fantz was seen using his cellphone to take pictures of young boys as they went to the bathroom at the State Fair, Wake County deputies detained him.

A search of his phone and laptop computer turned up at least 100 videos of boys urinating and dozens of images depicting child pornography, authorities said.
