Southern Season, Chef Vivian Howard announce partnership
The star of PBS's "A Chef's Life" is teaming up with Southern Season for a line of products, a collection of gift sets and more.

The retail brand will be featuring a special "Vivian Howard Shop" in each of its three retail locations (Chapel Hill, Charleston, S.C., and Richmond, Va.,) as well as a spread in the kitchen store's holiday catalog.
The North Carolina-based store is also partnering with Howard for a series of online and co-branded products.
"Working with Vivian is a perfect marriage," Southern Season president, Dave Herman, said in a statement. "Both Southern Season and Vivian Howard strive to tell stories of Southern traditions and explore modern perspectives that make our region one of the richest culinary destinations in the world."
"Vivian Howard for Southern Season" will debut in time for the holidays with a group of gift collections exclusive to Southern Season. Inside each handcrafted wooden crate, there will be gifts chosen by Howard that reflect her connection to Southern cooking. The gifts sets include:
- Kinston Inspiration - a selection of items from Howard's hometown
- Ben's Birthday Gift - A group of her husband's favorite breakfast items
- Childhood Memories - Some of Howard's favorite snacks when growing up
- Pimp My Grits - Honors the popular dish served at Chef and The Farmer
The "Vivian Howard Shop" at each retail location will feature some of her favorite artisan products, gadgets and kitchen staples. The "Vivian Howard for Southern Season" line of products is expected to debut early next year.
