SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. — Southern Pines police on Friday announced that they had made an arrest in a deadly shooting from almost three years ago.

On Friday, police charged Antonio Jamal Brown, 30, of Raeford, with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharge of firearm within city limits and second-degree trespassing. He was being held without bond at the Moore County Detention Center.

Brown was already behind bars for another murder. He is one of three men charged with killing 33-year-old Royal Wyatt Junior at Mcrae's, a private club in Hoke County, in the summer of 2012.
