Southern Pines man arrested, charged with 2013 murder
A 27-year-old Southern Pines man was arrested and charged Wednesday with killing a man on South Hardin Street in June 2013, police said.

Marshall Tristan Shaw is accused of killing Floyd Elmer Williams, 27, who was found lying in the street in front of Simon Funeral Home on June 29, 2013. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shaw, who was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, remained in the Moore County jail Wednesday under no bond. His next scheduled court date is July 22.
