RALEIGH, N.C. — A Smithfield man has been charged with statutory rape, according to authorities.

Tavian McLamb, 19, was being held under a $150,000 bond in the Wake County jail on Thursday.

McLamb was ordered not to have any contact with the 13-year-old victim.

According to an arrest warrant, the charge stems from an incident last month.
