A hit-and-run involving two vehicles Monday night in Smithfield sent three people to Wake Med with non-life-threatening injuries.

SMITHFIELD, N.C. — A hit-and-run involving two vehicles Monday night in Smithfield sent three people to Wake Med with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Smithfield police department. Police have no suspects at this time.

Marcus Garner, 27, Johnny Campbell, 16, and Kenneth Parnell Jr., 33, were traveling on the 100 block of Futrell Way when a white Ford Taurus crossed over the center line and hit their vehicle, sending it off the road and into a tree.
