Silver Alert issued for Warren County man, 79
A 79-year-old Warren County man wandered away from a Macon rest home Sunday morning, authorities said.

MACON, N.C. — A 79-year-old Warren County man wandered away from a Macon rest home Sunday morning, authorities said.
A Silver Alert was issued for William Wilson Algood, who is believed to be cognitively impaired, shortly after 10 p.m.
Algood was last seen at Boyd's Rest Home, at 295 Carroll Town Road. He is black, with gray hair and brown eyes, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
He may be headed to Henderson or Norlina, authorities said.
Anyone who may have seen Algood is asked to call the Warren County Sheriff's Office at 252-257-3456.
