Silver Alert issued for Apex man
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons updated a Silver Alert Saturday morning for Amin Sider, 46. He has been missing since Nov. 20.
Posted — UpdatedSider is described as a white man, 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing about 150 pounds. He has black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black turtleneck, black jeans, blue and white sneakers and a camouflage jacket at 4733 Pacehaven Lane in Apex.
Sider could be driving a silver 2007 Land Rover with N.C. license plate 17004112.
Anyone with information about Sider should call Det. E.A. Blemgren at the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6800.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered adults who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
