Shooting in Raleigh leaves one dead

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in Raleigh late Sunday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Raleigh late Sunday.

Officers responded to an emergency call at 1113½ Carlisle St. about 11 p.m. and found Jose Antonio Baez, 25, who lived at the home, shot to death.

Police said early Monday that there were no suspects in the investigation, which is ongoing. A preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting wasn't random, they said.

No other details were released.
