Shooting, attempted robbery at Spring Lake restaurant
The owner of the Mandarin Wok in Spring Lake was shot Wednesday evening during an attempted armed robbery, sheriff's deputies said.
Posted — UpdatedSPRING LAKE, N.C. — The owner of the Mandarin Wok in Spring Lake was shot Wednesday evening during an attempted armed robbery, sheriff's deputies said.
Xiao Zhang was grazed by a bullet at his 247 Skyland Plaza restaurant and sustained non-life-threatening injuries at about 8 p.m., deputies said.
Paramedics transported Zhang to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.
