Shelby man sought in shooting death

Shelby police were searching for 25-year-old Terrence Montreal Norris in connection with a shooting death Friday night.

SHELBY, N.C. — Shelby police are looking for 25-year-old Terrence Montreal Norris, who is wanted in connection with a shooting death Friday night.

Arrest warrants were obtained for Norris Saturday on a murder charge. He was not in custody as of Saturday evening.

Officers found Kelton Jerrard Ross with multiple gunshot wounds inside a house at 210 Morrison St. around 11:30 p.m. Ross was taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information on Norris' whereabouts is asked to call police at 704-484-6845. His last known address is 2001 Melrose Drive in Shelby.
