Sesame Street Live Make a New Friend hits the PNC Arena in Raleigh with shows June 5 to June 7. Tickets don't go on sale to the general public until Feb. 4, but we have a special code that lets you buy tickets now and gets you $5 off.

The show, perfect for the preschool crowd, runs 90 minutes with a 15-minute potty break (I mean intermission). Here's a description: "No matter where you’re from or where you’ve been, everyone is special - so join in! Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and their Sesame Streetfriends welcome Chamki, Grover’s friend from India, to Sesame Street. Together, they explore the universal fun of friendship and celebrate cultural similarities, from singing and dancing, to sharing cookies!"

I've taken my now five-year-old several times and she's had a blast.

To get your tickets now, here's what you need to do. Just use the presale password VMAIL to purchase your tickets by Feb. 3 through Ticketmaster.com. The code lets you buy the tickets before the general public. You also save $5 per ticket on some seats. Those discounted seats are the $35 level on opening night and all seats for the rest of the shows except the Sunny Seats. The offer is valid online only.
