Selma man crushed under bulldozer

A Selma man was killed Monday while working on a bulldozer near his home, authorities said Thursday.

SELMA, N.C. — A Selma man was killed Monday while working on a bulldozer near his home, authorities said Thursday.

Gary Holland, 48, was working under the bulldozer in a private shop on N.C. Highway 42 East when the blade fell on him, pinning him underneath, authorities said.

Holland was taken to Johnston Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Authorities ruled his death an accident.
