Section of Bragg Boulevard closed for possible gas leak
A portion of Bragg Boulevard, in the Stamper Road-Fort Bragg Road-Cain Road area, was temporarily shut down Monday morning due to a possible gas leak under the pavement.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A portion of Bragg Boulevard, near Cain Road, was temporarily shut down Monday morning due to a possible gas leak under the pavement.
The Fayetteville Fire Department Haz-Mat Team was on the scene and police were redirecting traffic, officials said.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area if possible and to be patient while the leak was fixed. Officials were unsure of how long the stretch would be closed.
