Search continues for missing Franklin County man

CASTALIA, N.C. — About 40 volunteers and law enforcement officers resumed their search efforts Sunday for a missing Franklin County man.

Roger Wade Ayscue, 40, is the subject of a Silver Alert. He hasn't been seen since the middle of July and goes by the name "Kojak," according to a missing person's flier.

Ayscue is a white man with blond hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 197 pounds. He was last seen at 290 Collie Road in Castalia.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $5,000 reward for help finding Ayscue.
