Sculpture missing from Chapel Hill Museum

The orange sculpture, entitled "Landing," was initially noticed to be gone around July 8, but it wasn't reported missing until Wednesday, the town's public art coordinator, Steve Wright, said.

The 6-foot-tall by 5-foot-wide orange urethane sculpture of a girl jumping is valued at $16,000 and was on lease from the artist, Cecilia Lueza, of St. Petersburg, Fla.
