Science museum plans teen night

The N.C. Museum of Natural Science swill host a night just for teens this week.

The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences will host a night just for teens this week.

On Friday, May 1, teens are invited to learn more about the downtown Raleigh museum's teen programs.

Here's the schedule of events:

8 p.m. to 9 pm: Sample the chemistry of flavor at our snack bars, learn about the Museum's many teen opportunities, or capture your image as a mad scientist at our photo booth.

9 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Dance the night away in the SECU Daily Planet Theater, and take a break for some late-night pizza!

The evening includes pizza, raffles, prizes, pictures, dancing and other activities. Tickets are $5 at the door. Register before Thursday and get a $2 discount. More details are on the Facebook event page.
