School bus slams into parked cars at Panther Creek High
A school bus hit several parked cars outside Panther Creek High School on Tuesday morning after the driver experienced a medical problem, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedCARY, N.C. — A school bus hit several parked cars outside Panther Creek High School on Tuesday morning after the driver experienced a medical problem, authorities said.
The bus dropped students off at Panther Creek High shortly after 7 a.m., and the driver then had an unidentified medical problem and accelerated into some cars in the parking lot.
No one was in any of the cars, and no one was injured in the incident, authorities said.
The bus driver, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment.
