Go Ask Mom

Scenes from our play date at North Hills' Midtown Park

I'll admit - I was a little frazzled this morning as the weather appeared pretty iffy for our event at North Hills' Midtown Park. But I am so glad we pushed forward and had such a great event and turnout with some amazing performers, big trucks and lots of fun activities for kids.

I'll admit - I was a little frazzled Tuesday morning as the weather appeared pretty iffy for our event at North Hills' Midtown Park. But I am so glad we pushed forward and had such a great event and turnout with some amazing performers, big trucks and lots of fun activities for kids.

Thanks so much to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, Ready Mixed Concrete Company, Rex Healthcare, First-In Fire Company for the vehicles. Marbles Kids Museum brought some great toys to encourage some really active play among all the kids who attended. And Fit4Mom Midtown Raleigh offered a free workout for moms and their stroller-riding kids.
Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio, the N.C. Theatre and Chick-fil-A North Hills offered some fun crafts. Swoops from the Carolina RailHawks and the Chick-fil-A cow made appearances.
And we had some great performances from very talented Cary teen Brooke Hatala, the Notorious D.A.D.S. from Notasium, singer-songwriter Rissi Palmer and the N.C. Theatre Conservatory.

Thanks so much to everybody who participated and came out! We'll be back at North Hills for its Midtown Farmers' Market in September!
