SC man dies in wreck near Wilson
A South Carolina man died Friday night when he lost control of his car on I-95, hit a tree and burned, officials with the N.C. Highway Patrol said.
Posted — UpdatedWILSON, N.C. — A South Carolina man died Friday night when he lost control of his car on I-95, hit a tree and burned, officials with the N.C. Highway Patrol said.
Authorities said Christopher O'Neal Burgess, 28, of Gable, S.C., was driving on Interstate 95 North near Wilson around 9 p.m. when he lost control of his car.
The car caught fire after the wreck, troopers said.
No other information was released.
