Sanford Teen Dies in Car Accident
Daniel Victor Romero, 16, was traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed the center line and ran off the road into a ditch, according to Highway Patrol. The vehicle overturned and he was ejected, officials said.

Daniel Victor Romero, 16, was traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed the center line and ran off the road into a ditch, according to Highway Patrol. The vehicle overturned and he was ejected, officials said.
A passenger in the car was injured, but his name and condition were not available.
The crash happened on Edwards Road in Lee County at about 10 p.m., officials said. It is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor.
