A Sanford man was charged Monday in connection with a day care bus accident.

<b>SANFORD, N.C.</b> — A Sanford man was charged Monday in connection with a day care bus accident.<br />

Police said Robert Rogers, 36, was traveling on Pendergrass Road near S. Franklin Drive when his Jeep struck a day care bus at about 3 p.m.

The bus from 1st Presbyterian Church was transporting four students.

Rogers suffered minor injuries. He was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign.
