Runaway teen might be in Fayetteville, police say
Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to find a 17-year-old runaway girl from Missouri.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to find a 17-year-old runaway girl from Missouri.
Investigators say Shea Smith is from Southwest City, Mo., near the Oklahoma-Arkansas border and that she might have traveled to Fayetteville sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Smith is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair that was dyed with red highlights.
Police urge anyone with information about Smith to call 911 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.
