Royal Shakespearean epic in rotating repertory at PlayMakers
PlayMakers Repertory Company stages Shakespeare's version of English history with "The Making of a King: Henry IV and Henry V." The two plays, now in repertory at PlayMakers, present timeless themes as relevant today as they were when Shakespeare wrote the texts 400 years ago.
Posted — UpdatedThe classic plays take you on a journey with Prince Hal from his unimpressive beginnings in dark taverns under the tutelage of Sir John Falstaff, to becoming one of England’s greatest kings, Henry V.
