RALEIGH, N.C. — This week, we have live music, comedy, sledding and even a tribute to a WRAL-TV favorite. Let's check out your best bets for fun this weekend in and around the Triangle!
Top cowboys from around the country will be competing at The World's Toughest Rodeo at PNC Arena on Saturday. From bull riding to barrel racing, there will be a variety of events. New this year: The rodeo clowns will be competing with one another. Tickets start at $28. Check WRAL's Out and About later today to see our behind the scenes look at what it takes to become a rodeo clown. And look this weekend for our photos from the rodeo. 
WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel will be in the hot seat on Friday night during a roast on Friday night at the Cardinal Club. Mix 101.5's Lynda Loveland will serve as roastmaster. Tickets are steep – $100 each – but proceeds go to the Athens Drive Arts Foundation.
A low-pressure system that was gathering momentum Thursday as it churned off the Florida coast could bring complications to beachgoers over Memorial Day weekend, said WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel.
Triangle Restaurant Week starts Monday and to help kick off the week, there will be a party Sunday at Fullsteam in Durham. For a $10 suggested donation, you will get light hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and entertainment. The donations will go to Communities In Schools and Band Together. Look for our best bets for each day of Triangle Restaurant next week on Out and About!

Comedy will take center stage at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium on Friday with a show by comedian and actor Mike Epps. Tickets start at $44. 

"Saturday Night Live" veteran Tim Meadows (yes the "Ladies Man" himself) will be at Goodnight's Comedy Club Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $20 each.

Cary's Bond Park will become a Winter Wonderland this weekend. There will be activities through Monday. Tickets are $12 for Cary residents and $16 for non-residents. You must pre-register, tickets will not be sold day of. For more information, call 919-469-4100. This was also one of Go Ask Mom's picks for this weekend.

The North Carolina Symphony will present Wicked Divas Friday and Saturday at Meymandi Concert Hall. The show features diva showstoppers from the Tony Award-winning musical Wicked, Gypsy, Ragtime, Titanic and Carmen.
