Rocky Mount police seek to ID robbery suspects

Rocky Mount police have asked for the public's help in trying to identify three men who robbed a 52-year-old man at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount police have asked for the public's help in trying to identify three men who robbed a 52-year-old man at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

The victim told police that he was robbed of his wallet by three armed men at The Stockyard, 3640 S. Church St., around 2:25 p.m.

The men were operating a burgundy, four-door 1997 Buick LeSabre, with North Carolina license plate number WTK-8574, police said.

Police described one suspect as a 5-foot-tall black man, weighing 150 pounds, with a light build. He wore a gray shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was described as a black man, 6 feet tall, with a medium build and light facial hair. He wore blue jeans and black jacket. The third was described as a black man, with a heavy build, wearing a black jacket.

Police have not located the suspects or their vehicle.
