PARKTON, N.C. — Federal, state and local law enforcement officers were on the scene of a suspected meth lab in Robeson County Tuesday night.

Shortly before 1 p.m., Robeson County dispatchers received a call from a neighbor who said a woman was screaming inside 2831 Parkton Tobormory Road in Parkton.

When they arrived, deputies determined that the house was being used to manufacture methamphetamine, Sheriff Ken Sealey said.

He said a woman and her two children, who lived at the house but were not home at the time, were being questioned by police.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the State Bureau of Investigation are assisting sheriff's deputies in the investigation.

No other information was released.
