Road races close streets near Fort Bragg Sunday
The All-American Marathon, Mike-to-Mike Half Marathon and All-American 5K are Sunday in the area around Fort Bragg, and residents and drivers should be prepared for road closures.
Posted — UpdatedThe races take place in the general area south and west of Pope Field, and the course includes portions of Reilly and Gruber roads, Hurst Drive, Longstreet Road, Bastogne Drive and All-American Freeway.
Drivers should expect limited access to those streets between about 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Race organizers will reopen roads as runners are cleared from the course.
Residents, especially those along Gruber and Rifle Range roads, are encouraged to come out and cheer the runners.
