RLT's 'Sleeping Beauty' so popular, three shows added

So many people have been clamoring to see the show that the community theater has extended the run, adding three shows.

“Sleeping Beauty,” directed by Judy M. Dove, opens Friday, April 3rd in the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre.
Thanks to a perfect storm of family visits and soccer tournaments, I have not had a chance to see Raleigh Little Theatre's "Sleeping Beauty."
But so many people have been clamoring to see the show that the community theater has extended the run, adding three shows. The performance is part of Raleigh Little Theatre's youth series. I mentioned this in my Weekend Plans post this week, but I thought it was significant enough to share in a separate post.

This is the second time Raleigh Little Theatre has produced its version of this classic tale, which includes original music by Haskell Fitz-Simons, the theater's longtime artistic director. It was produced 10 years ago as part of a teen program.

The show runs on select days through April 18. Tickets are $17 and $11 for kids 12 and under. Shows were added April 17 and April 18.

Congratulations to the cast and crew for putting together such a popular show!
