Chef Hannah and I had so much fun creating these. Even better, I loved watching her imagination and eyes pop with creative ideas of what else we could use to decorate our snow friends.
This sweet and salty treat also makes a terrific table decoration or small centerpiece for your holiday dessert table posed in a glass with white chocolate chips to hold our snow friends in place
Enjoy and happy holidays from your friends at Flour Power Kids Cooking Studios!
Ingredients:
Assorted candies and decorations such as the following: Miniature chocolate chips, sprinkles, black decorating gel, candy cane chocolate kisses, white nonpareils, Fruit by the Foot fruit rolls
Directions
Dip a pretzel rod two-thirds of the way into melted white chocolate, or drizzle chocolate over pretzel with a spoon. Place flat on a sheet of wax paper to dry and decorate. Attach miniature chocolate chips for eyes and buttons or use decorating gel to draw them on.
Using decorating gel, add a mouth and nose. For hat, attach a chocolate kiss to the top of pretzel using a dab of chocolate to hold it in place. Sprinkle snowman with nonpareils. Carefully stand snowman upright in a tall glass or press the bottom of the pretzel rod into a 2-in.-thick piece of Styrofoam. For scarf, cut fruit rolls into thin strips and tie around snowmen.
Carefully remove from wax paper once dry.
