Recipe: Light seven layer dip

Families and friends may be divided during the Final Four, but everyone will agree that this lighter version of seven-layer dip is an MVP.

A member of the Cary Family YMCA gets extra points for adding healthier ingredients to this fan favorite!

Ingredients
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
2 avocados, mashed well
1 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
2/3 cup black beans
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Sliced black olives and scallions to garnish

Directions

Spread chopped romaine lettuce at the bottom of a large bowl. Add avocado layer on top, and smooth to even height. Spoon Greek yogurt on top. Then layer black beans. Smooth if necessary. Add the diced tomatoes. Sprinkle cheese, olives and scallions. Serve with low-fat chips or veggies.
