It’s time to plant our gardens, so this recipe is a great one that requires little water and effort! Plus, your lil’ chef will enjoy making an edible garden from sweet treats!

Flower Pot Ice Cream
1 box devil's food cake mix
1 package Oreo cookies
1 gallon ice cream
1 package gummy worms
Straws
Small clay flower pots
Clear plastic cups

Plastic or silk flowers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package directions and pour into 9 x 11 greased baking sheet or mini muffin cups. Bake and cool according to package directions.

Place plastic cup inside clay pot. Put cake into bottom of plastic cup, followed by a scoop of ice cream. Place straw through ice cream and cake to bottom of plastic cup to use a holder for the flower. Crumble Oreo on top of ice cream and place gummy worm on top.

Put flower into straw and you’ll have a garden surprise!
