Recall: Rompers for baby boys sold at The Children's Place due to choking hazard

The United States Product Safety Commission on Thursday announced the recall of rompers for baby boys sold at The Children's Place stores and online.

The recall is for the Baby Boy Dino Romper and the Baby Boy Camo Rompers 2-Pack, both pictured. All sizes, 0-3M, 3-6M, 6-9M, 9-12M, 12-18M and 18-24M, were recalled for both products.

According to the USPSC, metal snaps on the rompers can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. There have been two reports of snaps falling off, but no injuries were reported.

The style numbers 3031536 (dinosaur romper) and 3026902 (2-pack) can be found on a sewn-in, side-seam label inside the garments.

About 10,850 items were sold at stores across the U.S. and online through Amazon and The Children's Place website between January 2022 and June 2022. The dinosaur romper was $25, and the camo pack was around $35.

Customers should not use the rompers and can return them to any The Children’s Place store for a full refund. Emails will be sent to customers who bought the products.

Call The Children's Place toll-free at 877-752-2387 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with questions.
