RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police were searching Sunday for a 69-year-old woman who was reported missing five days ago.

Evanir Rosa Rogolio was last seen at her home at 9405 Brook Garden Court in north Raleigh Wednesday afternoon. Her daughter, Alcenira Duckworth, said she came home from work to find her missing.

Rogolio speaks only Portuguese, police said. Her daughter said that she rarely leaves the house, can't drive and doesn't have money or a cell phone with her.

Duckworth said the family moved to the area from Cary a month ago, so Rogolio doesn't have any friends she would go to see. Relatives haven't found her in searches of the neighborhood or nearby hospitals.

Police said they do not suspect foul play but want to ensure Rogolio's well-being.

Anyone who knows of Rogolio's whereabouts or might have seen her should call Raleigh police at 919-996-3335.
