RALEIGH, N.C. — One of downtown Raleigh's most visited areas is slated for a makeover.

The City of Raleigh is now accepting ideas for how to redevelop Moore Square and the the surrounding area, a much-used space two streets from Fayetteville Street.

The square sits across the street from the Marble Kids Museum and an IMAX movie theater and is also the site of a number of concerts and events throughout the year.

The city plans to host an open forum for developers, planners and anyone else who has an idea on how to improve the area. It will also host a judged competition where a design plan could become the final look.
